What happened to the newsflash?
You might have noticed that the newsflash is still "flashing" news stories from ages ago! Talk about old news! Im going to fix this soon, so bare with me. In the mean time if anyone knows how to solve this problem using Sine wave (hwaldung pahdo), or Jirugi, Im all ears (gwi)

On Saturday 20th November 2010 Mr Dylan Humphreys, Scot Hickinbottom and Simon Ingram took their Black Belt Grading. Mr Humphreys was hoping to be successfully promoted to 3rd Degree Black Belt whilst Scot and Simon were taking their 1st Degree Black Belt grading. We arrived at the venue in Coventry bright and early at 9am, full of trepidation about what the day might hold. After registration and a rousing speech from Master Oldham VIII, President of the GTUK, the adults were dismissed whilst the Pee Wees and Juniors took their grading.
In the afternoon the children were finished and it was time for the adults to give it their all. Standards were very high all round and this time round there was the addition of some brick breaking for any students taking their 3 ½ degree grading. By the end of the day everyone had done their best and all that was left to do was wait for the results to be announced.
I am pleased to announce that all our students were successful in the grading and I would like to congratulate Mr Dylan Humphreys III, Mr Scot Hickinbottom I and Mr Simon Ingram I. I trust all students will remember to show the new black belts the respect that is already shown to our existing black belts and I’m sure everyone will join me in congratulating all 3 on their successes. |
