What happened to the newsflash?
You might have noticed that the newsflash is still "flashing" news stories from ages ago! Talk about old news! Im going to fix this soon, so bare with me. In the mean time if anyone knows how to solve this problem using Sine wave (hwaldung pahdo), or Jirugi, Im all ears (gwi)

On Saturday 6th November 2010 Kickstart Taekwondo were invited to perform a demonstration as part of B&Q Stockport’s Community Fun Day, which was bringing an end to their Community Week, raising money for Children in Need. We were delighted to have this opportunity to take our club out into the community and help us reach a wider audience. We performed 2 short demonstrations including a warm up, some patterns, some pad work and also some destruction. We were available to answer any questions people may have about the martial art and we also handed round some flyers with more information about our club and the classes available.
Myself and Mr Lavin would like to thank Megan Murray, Guy Turner, Mandy Turner and John Delaney-Willis for giving up their time on a Saturday at quite short notice to help us out with this demonstration. We would also like to thank B&Q Stockport for inviting us to take part in this event.
We hope to be able to attend more events like this in the future so if any students are interested in taking part in future demonstrations please speak to either myself or Mr Lavin about joining the demonstration team we are looking into creating. We are looking at involving students of all ages and grades in future demonstrations. Similarly if you do not wish to play an active part in a demonstration but wish to help out with handing out flyers or answering questions then please let us know. |
